Kotlin Workshop
Android Development
Kotlin is a statically typed programming language that runs on top of the Java Virtual Machine and that can also be compiled to source code from Javascript. Its primary development is from a team of programmers Jetbrains based on Saint Petersburg, Russia (the name comes from the Kotlin Island, near Saint Petersburg).
Although it does not have a Java-compatible syntax, Kotlin is designed to interoperate with Java code and is dependent on java code from the existing Java Class Library, such as the Collections Framework.
