In an increasingly digitized world, it is highly necessary to have professionals who  can work in the field of cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting systems, networks, and programs from digital attacks. By  Generally, these cyberattacks aim to access, modify or destroy sensitive information; extort users or disrupt business continuity.

Currently, the implementation of digital security measures is due to the fact that there are more devices  connected than people, and attackers are becoming more creative.

Functional Areas  of Development

  • Design of policies and security controls

  • Implementation of policies and controls in order to mitigate risks

  • Supervision of the Integrity of Information Systems  

  • Advise cybersecurity strategies

Profile of Graduates

The student body graduated from the Cybersecurity Engineering of the UPY, will be able to manage risks

computer systems to ensure the reliability, integrity, availability and confidentiality of data and  information through the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of

information systems in accordance with legal and ethical frameworks and international agreements.
